Our continuing education initiatives provide an opportunity for members at Council firms to hone job-specific skills, receive course credits and participate in exclusive executive-level management training.

Educational Opportunities from our Industry Partners

From Reinsurance Association of America, the Reinsurance Education Institute offers programs on cat modeling, reinsurance underwriting, basics of reinsurance, designing reinsurance contracts, reinsurance claims and loss management and reinsurance financial reporting and analysis. Council members qualify for the reduced “Association Partner” rates. Please click here for the 2010 schedule programs.

Agency Finance Workshop

Every other year, The Council sponsors a program designed for exclusively for chief financial officers and financial managers from member firms. The workshop, Successfully Managing Your Agency Finances, focuses on growth strategies, budgeting, mergers and acquisitions and other issues challenging today's CFO.

Online Education

Council members can earn continuing education credits or learn new information by using The Council’s online classroom.  Professional, convenient and low cost courses are offered for property/casualty, life/health and employee benefits producers in all 50 states.
