Conference Media Policy
Media Guidelines for The Council's Insurance Leadership Forum, Wholesale Insurance Leadership Forum and Employee Benefits Leadership Forum
Access to The Council of Insurance Agents & Brokers' annual Insurance Leadership Forum, Wholesale Insurance Leadership Forum and Employee Benefits Leadership Forum is granted only to pre-registered trade media. Media organizations seeking credentials to cover The Council's forums are limited to one representative from each organization and only working reporters can be credentialed. There will be no exceptions to this rule, and media organizations are urged to plan their coverage assignments accordingly. To be credentialed, an individual must fill out a registration form and submit it 30 days in advance of the conference starting date. Media representatives who are not credentialed in advance will not be granted access. Once a registration form is received, The Council will send conference information, including directions on accessing a list of attendees, to the journalist.
Registration DOES NOT entitle media representatives to hotel accommodations. Media will be provided a list of lodging options along with their registration materials and are responsible for securing their own lodging.
Once on-site, registered media may pick up registration materials and conference badges at The Council Registration Desk. Media representatives are required to wear their identification badges at all times at the event.
