Bring the PEBC™ Curriculum in-house
When your entire employee benefits team is trained to the same high standard, client service improves across the board. The PEBC™ On Demand program gives firms a flexible, scalable way to bring The Council's Professional Employee Benefits Consultant curriculum directly to your staff — equipping early-career benefits professionals with the technical knowledge, consulting skills, and plan design expertise they need to serve clients with confidence from day one.
The Professional Employee Benefits Consultant (PEBC™) is a premier early-career designation developed by The Council and The Institutes Agent & Broker Group specifically for employee benefits brokerage professionals. Unlike general industry certifications, the PEBC™ was built by brokers, for brokers — focused on the real-world skills your team needs: understanding benefits plan design, advising clients, and applying knowledge directly on the job.
Firms that sponsor PEBC™ candidates report stronger onboarding outcomes, faster readiness for client-facing roles, and improved retention among early-career staff. Because employees can complete the program while working, there's no downtime — the learning happens alongside the job, not instead of it.
