The Council of Insurance Agents & Brokers Announces
Two New Member Firms, Four Corporate Sponsors
WASHINGTON, D.C. – May 23, 2017 – The Council of Insurance Agents & Brokers announced today the addition of two new member firms in advance of its 16th annual Employee Benefits Leadership Forum. The new members, both with respected employee benefits practices, are Borislow Insurance (Methuen, Mass.) and Armada Global (Hunt Valley, Md.).
“Both of these new firms are leaders in the group benefits space and compliment the six new member firms previously announced this year,” said Ken A. Crerar, president and chief executive officer of The Council. “Adding voices with a depth of expertise strengthens the quality of our community and our voice on Capitol Hill.”
The Council also welcomes four new Partners in Excellence sponsors: Colonial Life (Event Sponsor), FM Global (Event Sponsor), Maxwell Health (Event Sponsor), and Sun Life Financial (Event Sponsor). In addition, Nationwide increased its investment in The Council to become a Platinum partner.

More than 500 industry leaders are expected to attend The Council’s annual Employee Benefits Leadership Forum next week in Colorado Springs, Colo.
