Last week, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles announced that they would be recalling 1.4 million automobiles in the U.S. to install new in-car software aimed at protecting them from cyber attacks.
The Fiat Chrysler recall comes shortly after two researchers were able to remotely hack a driving Jeep Cherokee during a demonstration. The recall is the first of its kind and the new software should keep hackers from gaining remote access to the vehicles.
