A recent study by the American Action Forum shows that electronic medical record hacks have doubled since last year, with over 94 million records being stolen and costing the industry an estimated $50 billion. Becker’s Health IT and CIO Review has pulled together a list of the last 19 healthcare data breaches. I wouldn’t be surprised if it could be updated to 20 by now.
