The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Financial Services Information Sharing and Analysis Center (FS-ISAC) are forging ahead with a public-private cyber threat information sharing mechanism, not waiting for Congress to finish its work on CISA legislation.  William Nelson, the president and CEO of the FS-ISAC, said last week that they have collaborated with DHS on a project that allows real-time information sharing in mere seconds.  “Our worst case is 10 minutes. One second is our best case.”  The FS-ISAC is adding 200 members a month and is active in 40 countries.
