Markel UK has now begun to offer cyber risk coverage to their customers, designed to integrate “both cyber liability and first party covers, for data protection, cyber risks and network interruption.” Recognizing there are still obstacles to acquiring the necessary cyber insurance even though the cyber landscape appears increasingly threatening, Markel line manager Liam Greene says, “With our new cyber solution, we are aiming to remove the barriers that prevent organizations from buying the cover they need.”
