THE COUNCIL ANNOUNCES THREE NEW DOMESTIC MEMBER FIRMS AHEAD OF ITS 2024 INSURANCE LEADERSHIP FORUM
Council Partners Program Continues Steady Growth with New & Expanded Investments
WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Council of Insurance Agents & Brokers is pleased to continue the expansion of its membership and sponsorship community in 2024. In the third quarter, The Council welcomed three new domestic member firms:
- Inszone Insurance Services (Anaheim, Calif.) is a top 100 property/casualty insurance brokerage with 20 years of experience. The company is focused on solidifying its U.S. footprint across all 50 states and growing both organically and through strategic mergers and acquisitions.
- Keystone Agency Partners (Harrisburg, Pa.) is a rapidly-growing insurance platform that acquires and partners with independent insurance agencies throughout the U.S., offering them best-in-class resources and support to accelerate their growth.
- Marshall & Sterling (Poughkeepsie, N.Y.) is a top 100 property/casualty agency with 160 years of experience working across a variety of clients and industries. Founded in 1864, Marshall & Sterling is one of the largest privately-owned insurance agencies in the United States.
“If you take a look at the profiles of our new member firms, you see tradition, innovation and growth. These are common threads that run through our membership community,” said Joel Wood, President/CEO of The Council. “We’re pleased to welcome Inszone, Keystone and Marshall & Sterling to The Council, and I look forward to welcoming them in person at our annual Insurance Leadership Forum next week.”
The Council has onboarded a total of 11 new member firms thus far in 2024. Alkeme Insurance Services (Ladera Ranch, Calif.), Aventum Group (London, U.K.), Cornes & Co. (Tokyo, Japan), Evertree (New York, N.Y.), Falcon Risk Services (New York, N.Y.), Houchens Insurance Group (Bowling Green, Ky.), McGohan Brabender (Dayton, Ohio) and PT Talisman (Jakarta, Indonesia) were announced earlier this year.
Leading up to the annual Insurance Leadership Forum, The Council Partners Program continues to expand as well. McKinsey & Company has joined as a Gold Partner, and Burns & Wilcox has increased their investment from Gold to Platinum Partner.
“For decades, our Council Partners program has attracted investments from carrier affiliates, broker members and industry partners with a vested interest in the growth and success of our industry,” said Keith Schuler, President & CEO of InterWest Insurance Services – A BroadStreet Company – and The Council’s 2024 Board Chair. “The Council has made many exciting changes to its events in 2024 and we’re thrilled to see the response and continued engagement from our Council Partner community.”
As previously announced, Convex and High Street Insurance Partners, Inc., have joined as Platinum Partners, while both Intact Insurance Specialty Solutions and Markel have increased their investment from Gold Partner to Platinum Partner. Additionally, AXIS, Comulate, Guidewire Software, Inc., MSIG USA., and Verisk have joined as Gold Partners.
The Council will host its 111th Insurance Leadership Forum from October 4-8, in Colorado Springs, Colo.
