THE COUNCIL WELCOMES 3 NEW MEMBER FIRMS & EXPANDS COUNCIL PARTNERS PROGRAM IN Q2 2024

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Council of Insurance Agents & Brokers is pleased to continue the expansion of its membership and sponsorship community in 2024. In Q2, The Council welcomed three new member firms spanning two continents and a variety of disciplines:

  • Aventum Group (London, U.K.) is a global (re)insurance group that operates across both the underwriting and broking sectors of the industry.
  • Evertree (New York, N.Y.) is a national insurance brokerage and top 30 personal lines independent agency, focused on leveraging proprietary technology to empower the next generation of independent brokers.
  • Houchens Insurance Group (Bowling Green, Ky.) is a 100% employee-owned, full-service retail brokerage specializing in real estate, construction, consumer staples and retail, and mining.

The Council has welcomed a total of eight new member firms thus far in 2024. Alkeme Insurance Services (Calif.), Cornes & Co. (Japan), Falcon Risk Services (N.Y.), McGohan Brabender (Ohio) and PT Talisman (Indonesia) were announced earlier this year.

Leading up to the annual Employee Benefits Leadership Forum, The Council Partners Program continues to expand as well. Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Convex, and High Street Insurance Partners, Inc. have joined as Platinum Partners, and both Intact Insurance Specialty Solutions and Markel have increased their investment from Gold Partner to Platinum PartnerAXIS, Comulate, Guidewire Software, Inc., MSIG USA., and Verisk have joined as Gold Partners and Norton LifeLock Benefit Solutions has joined as an EBLF Event Sponsor.

As previously announced in Q1, Ameritas increased its investment, becoming a Gold Partner, and The Council welcomed Symetra as an EBLF Event Sponsor. The Council will host its annual Employee Benefits Leadership Forum from May 28-31, in Colorado Springs, Colo.
