The FBI claims that it is close to figuring out who hacked Anthem.
FBI Executive Assistant Director Bob Anderson told reporters, “I think we’re very close already. But we’re not going to say it until we’re absolutely sure.”
Anderson continued by stating that the FBI has had a number of conversations internally and externally about the ramifications of public attribution. “I will tell you the Sony case is not going to be a one-off…You’re going to see us start to do this because honestly the community and the guys and gals working cyber both on the law enforcement and national security side are getting better at it. So I think you’re going to see this more often.”
