According to The Sidney Morning Herald, “the executive branch of Taiwan’s government alone was hit by more than 1900 cyber attacks a week in 2013, and about 440 email attacks a month.”
Many of these attacks can be attributed to the fact that Taiwan is a highly developed global business and manufacturing hub as well as its tumultuous history with mainland China.
