Colin Powell recently spoke at the FireEye Cyber Defense Summit where he called on companies to “triage” the wide array of cyber threats they face.
Powell told the audience to “understand what is the most important thing to protect at all costs, and who are the most dangerous people out there trying to get in, who are less dangerous, and who…is a problem but not at the heart of most of the dangers.” He added that although the hack against the JCS’s declassified email server was “dangerous,” it is not as distressing as the massive breach at the Office of Personnel Management.
