On Tuesday, Turkey suffered a massive power outage that affected the capital Ankara, Istanbul and other cities across the country.

Turkey’s Prime Minister, Ahmet Davutoglu, said that all possibilities were being considered and Energy Minister Taner Yildiz stated, “whether or not terrorism is a high possibility or a low one, I can’t say at this stage. I can’t say either whether it is a cyber attack.” Power was first restored in Istanbul and it was expected that the remainder of the country would come online thereafter.
