The National Association of Insurance Commissioners have opened two cyber related document drafts for public comment from “regulators, interested parties and industry representatives.”
The first document is a draft of Principles for Effective Cybersecurity Insurance Regulatory Guidance, which is aimed to help “state insurance departments identify uniform standards, promote accountability, and provide access to essential information.”
The second document is the Annual Statement Supplement for Cybersecurity policies, which was put together by the NAIC’s Property and Casualty Insurance (C) Committee.
