The National Association of State Chief Information Officers (NASCIO) stated last week that they want cybersecurity to be a top priority of the federal government in 2015, with particular attention being paid towards collaboration with states on battling cyberthreats.

Additionally, the list called on action to modernize outdated federal regulations impacting state IT, building a sustainable nationwide public safety network and collaboration on broadband and telecommunications. Here is NASCIO’s full  Federal Advocacy Priorities press release.
