I always value an opportunity to reconnect with members at industry events, and I was honored to address the Renomia European Partners Conference last month and hear about trends in Central and Eastern Europe and members’ struggles in the current globalized world. As members embark on exploring new business in the region, I took note that brokers there can be preoccupied with some similar, fundamental challenges as in other parts of the world. Of course, market stories differ, and so do their development stages.
Building a successful and lasting relationship with clients lies at the heart of your business and spans into various aspects of operation. To stay ahead of the game, companies stressed the role of clear communication in cross-border risk placement, tried to figure out the effects of Insurtech and private capital on local intermediaries and shared their views on where international benefits move. Mindful of how important these issues are, The Council has also been addressing these themes through our platforms and members’ networking opportunities to exchange market intelligence.
