The National Security Council’s senior director, Ari Schwartz, has officially stepped down from his position as the White House’s lead cyber official. Mr. Schwartz began his term as senior director in March 2014, after serving as the director for cybersecurity privacy, civil liberties and policy.
During his term, Schwartz played a pivotal role in developing the government’s current cybersecurity framework, designed to help both the private industry and government to bolster cyber security measures.
